Dr. Afreen Shariff is a globally recognized expert in the field of side effect management in cancer patients. She has spent the last decade taking care of 1000s of patients with cancer and hormone related side effects who travel long distances and wait for days to months to see her. She educates oncologists around the world on how to manage side effects. Through these distilled experiences she has recognized a larger need to support oncologists and patients in caring for side effects and this support needs to be given soon after one develops a side effect- not weeks to months later. We are here to change that.
